Cragsmoor Free Library’s Pandemic Response Plan
The Cragsmoor Free Library is a small Library with a Board of directors, and a Library Director. Procedure for any Pandemic:
The Director would tell volunteers not to come in the Library. The cleaning person would be asked to not come in.
The only maintenance that would be done would be absolutely necessary with proper safety equipment approved by the State of New York.
The Director would follow the guidelines of the State of New York and the Ramapo Catskill Library Association which we belong to.
The Director would have on hand at all times sanitizer, disinfectants, masks, gloves, wipes, paper towels, and antiseptic cleaners.
The Director would come to work to do basic jobs, and to make sure the Library was maintained to be safe.
The Director would be in constant contact with the board of directors keeping them up to date with all aspects of the Library.
The Director would close the Library as soon as it was deemed necessary, and not re-open until it was declared safe by the State of New York.
If contamination were to occur the Library would be closed completely and a professional cleaning company would be called in to do a complete
cleaning of the building conforming to state regulations before it could be opened again.
